Dr. Naidu is an ENT Specialist with more than 10 years of experience as a specialist. Dr. Naidu has extensive experience having worked and trained in South Africa, UK, New Zealand and Australia. Dr. Naidu has dual fellowship with the Colleges of Medicine of South Africa and the Royal Australasian Colleges of Surgeons in Australia.
Dr. Naidu completed his undergraduate medical degree at the Nelson R. Mandela School of Medicine, University of Natal in Durban, South Africa in 2003. Dr. Naidu went on to complete his post graduate specialist training with the Colleges of Medicine in South Africa. Dr. Naidu completed advanced head & neck cancer training/robotic training at St. Mary’s in London.
Dr. Naidu was senior lecturer at the University of KwaZulu-Natal in South Africa and started numerous collaborative projects and research with Yale University, USA. He was also appointed as examiner for the College primary examinations. Dr. Naidu was responsible for training junior and senior medical doctors and those on the specialist training pathway.
Dr. Naidu in 2018, spent 3 years in New Zealand working and training with head & neck surgeons to advance his surgical skills prior to relocating to Queensland.
Dr. Naidu established a head & neck cancer service in Rockhampton providing complex cancer care services to regional Australia. Dr. Naidu was appointed senior lecturer with the University of Queensland and responsible for training medical doctors and was an assessor for the work base assessment programme as accredited by the Australian Medical Council.
Dr. Naidu relocated with his family to Sydney to take up a Fellow position at Westmead Public Hospital.
